ATTENTION! OLD TIME RADIO AND MYSTERY/DETECTIVE FANS!

Tired of the daily visual effects of movies….Wanna take a break from it all…Want to hear the raspy cacophony of a creaking door... The chills of the audible thrills. With the lights turned off... With suspense fogging the air around you... And the invisible revolver caressing the back of your neck... You need…

CANDY MATSON! Best Lady Sleuth!

And this is a RARE FIND!

Before there was Nancy Drew… before there was the Policewoman… before there were the Charlie’s Angels… before there was Jessica Fletcher from the Murder She Wrote series… there was CANDY MATSON!

CANDY MATSON... considered by many to be the best among the lady sleuths from the Old-Time Radio era, is a rare find. There are only fourteen episodes in circulation. This early 50’s show was the brainchild of Monty and Natalie Parks Masters – the married couple. Monty Masters created and produced the show while Natalie Masters played the title role – Ms. Candy Matson herself!

This is a fantastic detective show.... fantastic writing, great sound effects, the tongue-in-cheek humor and the authentic San Francisco Bay area locations.

The story revolves around Candy Matson, a female detective, who works the same case as Lt. Ray Mallard of the Homicide Division but always happens to solve the case before he did. Her side-kick, Rembrandt Watson, played second fiddle to this female version of Sherlock Holmes.
